This Cookie Policy explains how Havellen & Dahl AS ("HD Arctic", "we", "us", or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on hdarctic.com. It complements our Privacy Policy and applies to anyone who visits our website.

Section 01

What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files that are placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow the website to recognise your browser, remember your preferences, and understand how you use the site.

Some cookies are essential for the website to function — these can't be disabled without breaking core features. Others are optional and used for things like analytics or personalisation. This policy also covers similar technologies such as local storage (used by your browser) and pixel tags (sometimes used in emails), which serve comparable purposes.

Our Stance

We keep cookie use minimal. No advertising cookies. No third-party tracking. Just what's needed to deliver the booking experience and run the site responsibly.

Section 02

Cookies We Use.

Section 03

Third-Party Services.

Some cookies are set by third-party services we use to deliver our booking experience. We have no control over the cookies they set, but we choose partners that respect user privacy and meet GDPR standards.

Section 04

How to Manage Cookies.

You can control and manage cookies in several ways. Please note that disabling certain cookies may impact the functionality of our website — in particular, the booking and payment flow requires Stripe's strictly necessary cookies to work.

Through your browser

Most browsers allow you to view, manage, delete, and block cookies through their settings. Direct links to each major browser's cookie controls:

Across all websites

If you prefer a single-place way to manage cookie preferences across many websites, look at Your Online Choices (EU) or DAA AdChoices (US).

Section 05

Do Not Track.

Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" signal. Because there is no industry standard for how websites should respond to this signal, we currently do not respond to it specifically.

That said — we already limit our use of cookies to what is described in this policy regardless of any DNT setting. We don't use tracking cookies. So in practice, our behaviour is what DNT asks for.

Section 06

Changes to This Policy.

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal reasons. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page tells you when the policy was most recently revised.

If we ever start using analytics, advertising, or other non-essential cookies, we will update this policy first and ask for your consent before setting any such cookie.

Section 07

Contact.

For questions about our use of cookies or this policy, contact us directly. For broader privacy questions, see our Privacy Policy.
